Trevor Myers | President Nominee


Trevor has been a Business Analyst at Farm Bureau for five years and transitioned to a Lead Business Analyst over a year ago. In this role, Trevor continues to focus on his Business Analyst work as well and managing a team of six which includes a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Automation. Prior to Farm Bureau he worked as a manager in the auto industry for over 10 years.

In addition to Trevor's dedication to his daily work. He has a focus on volunteering and sharing his knowledge in the Business Analyst community. In 2015 Trevor joined IIBA and was a volunteer for the Content Team for IBADD in 2016. Shortly after volunteering for the Content Team the team lead had to step down and Trevor assumed the role of Content Lead for IBADD 2016.

In 2019, Trevor was selected as event Chair for IBADD. Trevor, along with his Co-Chair, ran a successful two-day event. Also, in 2019 he was appointed to the IIBA CIC Volunteerism and Outreach Board position. In conjunction with all of his volunteer work with IIBA and IBADD, Trevor has enjoyed participating with Special Olympics as an announcer for the past seven years.

Trevor also earned his CCBA designation in 2019. Trevor has a passion for the BA industry and as President will continue to lead the Central Iowa Chapter to be one of the premier chapters of the IIBA.

Henry Baccam| Director of Partnerships and Outreach Nominee


I have been an active participant in the chapter and IBADD in the last 2 years. I have volunteered on the Logistics and Partnerships committees before officially joining the board as the Director of Partnerships in 2019. During this time, I created a brand new partnership strategy. I would like to continue as the Director of Partnerships and Outreach and refine the strategy for the chapter as we evolve.

In my professional career, I have more than 10 years of business analysis experience and have earned my CBAP. I am taking a more agile shift in my career and currently a CSM in a scrum master role. This leadership experience will blend in well with the chapter duties.




Brenda Peshak | Director of Technology Nominee 


 

I am a Product Owner/Scrum Master/BA/Project Manager and have 10 years experience in the industry. I have a master’s degree in Business Leadership and a bachelor’s in business management.

 

For the past two years, I have volunteered for the chapter supporting communication and technology efforts. I manage chapter electronic and social media communications. I also manage updating our IIBA website.

 

As the IBADD 2019 Communication and IBADD 2018 Lead technology volunteer, I created and managed electronic and social media communications for the events. This included website updates, managing the conference APP including contract negotiation with the app provider.

 

I bring prior experience serving on another non-profit board in the communications and technology space. My responsibilities included website maintenance, communication of events, chapter correspondence and tech support.I also severed in other positions in which I was responsible for strategy roadmaps, building and engaging membership, and marketing.

 

My vision as your IIBA Director of Technology is to provide the best technology for our members and volunteers supporting technology. I plan to improve the user experience through a smarter user interface and to get your questions answered quickly and an great IBADD app experience.

Shanna Gray | Director of Special Events Nominee


 

Shanna Gray has been a Business Analyst for 7 years and in various other positions for the past 20 years in the insurance industry. In her current position as a Business Analyst she analyzes needs, gathers requirements, and develops processes and procedures. Shanna is also involved with strategic planning for the line of business she is responsible for.

Shanna is focused on building strong business and personal relationships. As of a result of these relationships, Shanna has had several opportunities of organizing, planning and executing various events.

One event that is important to Shanna is the Yearly Kids Retreat. She has been part of this event for 15 years on various planning committees including Host and Program and Registration. She has spent 3 years as Lead Coordinator with responsibility to oversee the committees and work with the facility regarding the contract.

Shanna has also had a crucial role with IBADD. In 2017, she was on the Logistic Committee. Her role on this committee was an essential part of the success of the conference. Shanna was responsible for coordinating meals as well as ensuring the layout of the conference met speaker and attendees needs at Prairie Meadows. In 2018, Shanna was Co-Chair of the two day IBADD event. Shanna was responsible for assisting the Chair, organizing and leading meetings, ensuring all committees were on target to meet deadlines and executing the conference successfully. She currently is the IBADD 2020 Content Co-Lead.


 



Angie Weller | Director of Special Events Nominee


 

I have been an Agile Analysts for over ten years. During my technology career, I have filled a variety of roles including: Product Owner, Sr. Business Analyst, Agile Coach, Data Analyst, and UX/UI Designer. My passion is to give back and I do so by mentoring others to develop their analytical and soft skills for successful careers.

I have facilitated several CIC IIBA BABOK study groups, participated in our mentoring program, and networked with our fellow BA’s at events like the BA’s and Brew, chapter meetings, and the Agile working group. For several years, I have been a volunteer with IBADD, as a volunteer, as the Lead for Partnership, and the Lead for Design and Print.

In 2017-2018, I was elected and served as our IIBA CIC as the Director of Volunteerism and Outreach. I also served on IIBA’s Data Analytic Extension Guide committee in 2018/2019. Here we created the materials for the new certification program announced this year. Currently, I am volunteering at the international level by serving on IIBA's GCC committee as their Volunteer of the Year Award Lead for 2019.

I would be honored to serve our local chapter again in 2020/2021 as our Director of Special Events and am excited for the opportunity to assist with IBADD and other events.
