CBAP® Study Group

Do you need help preparing for the CBAP, CCBA® or ECBATM exam?

Would you like the opportunity to earn educational credit to put onto your exam application?

Would you like to learn more about business analysis?

Would studying in a group help you study for your certification exam?

Then, think about joining our Spring 2018 CBAP Certification Study Group!

For the Spring 2018 CBAP Study Group, we are going to change it up a bit. The Central Iowa Chapter is partnering with Watermark Learning to provide a CBAP Certification Opportunity. This session will be geared towards those students who are wanting to get certified as a CBAP, CCBA or ECBA.

This 11 week long session will have the following schedule (please note that the last week has 2 meeting dates, as we try to avoid conflicting with the Central Iowa Chapter's IBADD new 2 day event). Each class will be 3 hours long and will run from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

  • Thursday, February 15th, 2018
  • Thursday, February 22nd, 2018
  • Thursday, March 1st, 2018
  • Thursday, March 8th, 2018 (tentative - we will need to find an alternate location to meet)
  • Thursday, March 22nd, 2018
  • Thursday, March 29th, 2018
  • Thursday, April 5th, 2018
  • Thursday, April 12th, 2018
  • Thursday, April 19th, 2018
  • Thursday, April 26th, 2018
  • Tuesday, May 1st, 2018
  • Thursday, May 3rd, 2018

There will not be any class the week of March 12th (spring break week for most area schools/colleges). Any weather make-up dates will be rescheduled to take place after the Central Iowa Chapter's IBADD event. There will be 35 contact hours for this session, matching up with IIBA's educational requirements to sit for the CBAP exam.

This is a substantial discount than what is offered by Watermark on their website or on Amazon.

  • IIBA CIC members in good standing: $50 class fee plus the cost of the Watermark Study Guide package ($275). The class fee will be reimbursed by the Central Iowa Chapter for members when you sit for and pass the exam within 6 months from the last class date.
  • Non-IIBA or Non-IIBA CIC Members: $100 class fee plus the cost of the Watermark Study Guide package ($275). Fifty percent of the class fee ($50) will be reimbursed by the Central Iowa Chapter for non-members when you sit for and pass the exam within 6 months from the last class date.
Register Now (Includes Materials) Purchase Materials Only

Hurry! Class size will be limited to 12 participants and seating will be filled on a first-come/first-served basis. To be successful, participants must plan to attend all classes. Reservations are required so please reserve your seat. The list of participants will need to be finalized by February 4th in order to make sure that we have enough of the study guides/materials on hand for the first day of class. The BABOK v3 will not be provided, so if you would like to reference that material, please feel free to bring your own copy. A light evening meal will be provided for the participants. If there are any IIBA CIC members would wish to purchase the study materials but not sign up for the class; that option has been made available to you as well at the same discounted cost of $275.

Facilitators will all be CBAP professionals.
