Nominee for Director of Treasury and Finance

- Jenn Burton

Director of Treasury and Finance-Nomination

I started volunteering with IIBA Central Iowa Chapter as the Finance Lead for the IBADD 2018 Event. I reprised my role for the 2019 Event and was asked to step in as Director of Treasury and Finance later that year. I agreed to assist the Board as it aligns with my passion for developing and promoting both the Business Analysis profession and continuous and collaborative learning.

I have been a Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) for the last 9 years and have spent 16+ years working in Business Analysis in both IT and Strategy & Business Planning. I have a Master of Financial Management which provides additional insight needed in both my full time job as well as this Director role.

I believe in data-driven decision making, target-driven organizational strategy, thoughtful transparency, dynamic planning, and enlisting strong business analysis skills throughout the entire journey. I enjoy working with teams that collaborate, support diversity, take accountability, embrace innovation and transformation, and champion excellence every day.  The IIBA Central Iowa Chapter Board and all of its volunteers are this ideal team and I would be honored to continue to work for this Chapter and its members to ensure it is a sustainable organization for years to come.
