In the 21stcentury, the  hierarchical structure of many organizations has become an impediment to the  flow of value. Having multiple layers  of management slows the pace of decision-making and communication. As we move toward a more Agile future,  organizations will need to rethink their structure. Managers will have to rethink their value  proposition. Join this session to learn  about the history, the current state and the inevitable demise of middle  management.

Speaker Biography:

JEREMIAH HOPKINS is  a consultant, Agile Coach, and speaker who understands true success come from  the harmonious integration of people, process, and technology.  With over  fifteen years of leadership experience, he helps teams imagine new and  better ways of working, collaborate effectively, and achieve their desired  outcomes.  Jeremiah offers individual coaching to business owners,  entrepreneurs, and other creative types, as well as corporate workshops and  seminars.  Jeremiah has a diverse background that includes acting,  business management, data analytics, innovation, and Agile  transformation.  He holds a Masters in Business Administration and a BA  in Communications, both from the University of Iowa.  He is also a  Certified Scrum Master and Fellow, Life Management Institute.
